Pod Character Set
About
Pod is an ultra-heavy rounded stencil design which takes its name from the bisected I, which resembles a capsule. Diagonal strokes are treated in a teardrop-shaped fashion, a design motif that is taken across to other characters such as the K, R and the asterisk. Pod is an unusual mix of round-cornered friendliness and more graphic, mathematical tropes, and has been used for children’s science exhibitions to dance music compilations – perhaps because the I looks like a pill.
